Recent Friends' Events

The Friends' aim is to raise funds for the school to purchase extra items which will be of benefit to the girls. We arrange a number of social events for parents during the year.

 28th November 2009 – Christmas Bazaar 

The 2009 Christmas Bazaar at Gloucester Hall on November 28th, saw carol singers and shoppers competing for air space to create two hours of frenzied family entertainment.  Proud Dads with babes in arms guarded pushchairs and exchanged banter while Mums chased their daughters around the stalls. With lots of gifts available at pocket money prices, the girls busied themselves making purchases, queuing for Santa’s Grotto or being pampered at the nail bar. Great cakes were available at the cafe and far too much chocolate was consumed at the chocolate tombola which once again, sold out early.

The raffle draw bestowed holidays, meals out and spa treatments amongst its many prizes and provided an exciting conclusion to the event which raised a total of xxx for The Friends.

Our thanks go out to the many parents who gave so generously of their time managing stands and making gifts. We are grateful too for the many donations of raffle prizes and stall produce.
