Entrance Procedures

Entry to the Junior School is by assessment, either informal or more structured as appropriate to the age of the student. Should your daughter be transferring from another school, a copy of her most recent school report would also be required. Current pupils from our Nursery are monitored for entry into the Reception class and will naturally take up the first available places.

We are also keen that your daughter should experience the environment of the Junior Department and we offer each girl the opportunity to come and spend some time in her equivalent year group. At this stage, we make assessments in English and Mathematics to gauge her individual ability and particular strengths; the girls also do a reasoning test.If you would like to arrange for your daughter to visit and be assessed, please telephone our Junior Department direct on 01225 422931.
