The 12 girls representing the Royal High School were highly competitive and supportive towards each other. They were extremely focussed throughout the evening and had set personal standards that they were aiming to achieve. Outstanding results were definitely achieved in the 2 Medley Relays and the 2 Freestyle relays where the girls fought hard to earn themselves a good placing. Individual events to be commended included Charlotte Penney who broke 2 personal best times in the Individual Medley and breast stroke races. She knocked several seconds off of her time from last year and should be very proud of the progress she has made to date. Also to Sophie Langman in her butterfly who set another personal best time. Overall the U11 girls finished in 2nd place and the U10’s finished in 3rd place. Congratulations to all the girls for their excellent performances on the night and the exceptional manner in which they represented both themselves and the school. We are very proud everyone’s achievements and look forward to building on this success next time. Thank you to all the parents and siblings who came to show their support and encouragement for the girls. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated.
