Royal High Junior School wins Healthy Schools award

We are delighted to announce that we have been informed that our application for Healthy Schools status has been accepted. We are the 1st independent school in B&NES to achieve this award. Our application involved pupils, staff and parents submitting information on how we meet the pupils’ needs in Physical Activity, Healthy Eating, Emotional Health and Well Being and Personal, Social and Health Education. The process has enabled us to review and amend our current good practice to ensure that all the pupils’ needs are met. During the process we have been grateful for very useful feedback from parents and families along with our pupils’ input. We plan to have a day to celebrate this achievement in the autumn term.
