Hey presto! A touch of magic is broughtv to the classroom!

From The Bath Chronicle Thu 24 Apr, 2008

The school classroom isn’t normally a place where you can get away with clowning around. But youngsters at Bath’s Royal High Junior School were all smiles when Presto the clown paid a visit. Presto took a break from appearing at Billy Smart’s Circus at Bath Racecourse to entertain the children, who were aged three to eleven, at a school assembly.  The grand finale saw Presto balance a bench on his chin.  Headteacher Helen Fathers said:  “It was fantastic entertainment.  The kids really enjoyed it and the teachers did too”. Presto also took the time to talk to the children about what it is like to work on tour.  He described how he spent much of his free time travelling abroad to research new tricks and illusions.  Presto said he first became interested in magic at the age of six when his father took him to a clown’s show.
