U10 Hockey fixture at Kingswood Prep School

On Wednesday 14th January, the U10 A, B & C teams took part in matches against Kingswood.
The U10A team went down 6 – 1 to a very strong Kingswood side. We enjoyed plenty of possession, but failed to convert several really good scoring chances. Our Player of the Match was Alice Pugsley for making numerous of critical interceptions!
The U10B were also off to a flying start, with great commitment and enthusiasm from all the girls. They moved the ball well, mixing up various types of passes to fool the opposition. They utilised the height of their team well, and made some accurate long balls into the shooters. However, like the A team, the girls were struggling to find the net and final lost 7- 3. Players of the Match: Romilly Moran & Laura Clifford-Ward for excellent skills and accuracy.
The U10C team were also in action, with many of the girls making their debut performances! With little knowledge of the rules and match play, the girls went out and played some outstanding Netball. The final score saw Kingswood take the win 5-2.
Thank you once again to all of the parents who came to show their support, it was lovely to see so many of you there cheering the girls on!
