U9 Netball Tournament at Kingswood School

On Monday 25th February the U9’s took part in the annual RHS Netball tournament at Kingswood Upper Courts. The results were as follows:
RHS V KWD: Lost 5-0
RHS V St Margaret’s Drew 0-0
RHS V BGS Won 3-1
RHS V Stonar Won 3-0
RHS V MC Won 2-0
RHS V PGN Won 2-0
The girls appeared disorientated in their first match against Kingswood, losing 5-0. However, they quickly got their fighting spirit back in the following 5 matches and were undefeated. In each half the 7 players involved rotated positions and thrilled the spectators with their passing, defending and shooting skills. They were complimented on their sportsmanship and their enthusiastic 'three cheers' at the end of the each match. The team finished third overall and were the only team not to lose against St Margaret’s who won the competition. An excellent result by the girls who should be very proud of their performances, both on and off the court.
