Welcome To The Junior School

The Junior School is a happy and bright community where our girls are able to prosper and grow. We understand the importance of “getting it right” and from those very early days of Nursery, through to when your daughter is ready for the challenges of Senior School, our school is fully committed to providing your daughter with the very best opportunities. Well-equipped facilities on both the Junior and Senior School sites provide a wealth of learning experiences all set in our stunning grounds.

The Junior School educates and cares for girls from the age of three in our colourful Nursery department with weekly French and cookery sessions and specialist teaching in gymnastics, ballet and music.

Teaching is based on the Foundation Stage Curriculum for 3-5 year olds. The National Curriculum is the basis for our 5-11 year olds. As well as a strong foundation in both numeracy and literacy skills our girls enjoy a stimulating week with specialist teaching in PE, Games, French, Music, Dance and Drama. Our extensive extra-curricular programme along with visitors to the school and educational visits off-site enrich our pupils’ understanding of the world around them.

We believe that happy children love to learn and our supportive pastoral care, along with close home/school links, ensures that all are nurtured as we guide them through the first years of their education.
