Girls' Day School Trust Netball Championships

Our Year 6 Netball team enjoyed their day at Wimbledon High School, hosts for this year's Trust Netball Championships, competing against teams from other members of the 29 strong group of schools from across the country.
Our team did us proud, progressing to the quarter finals. In the group stage of the competition they emerged with a win,draw and defeat against Streatham, Norwich and Brighton respectively.
In an exciting quarter final against a talented side from Northampton, our players fought back from 4-1 down to 4-3, conceding a late penalty which eventually decided the match 5-3 in Northampton's favour.
Well done to all the players for their great team spirit, excellent play and good sportsmanship. It was a memorable day for all of them.
