Welcome To The Sixth Form College

You are about to embark on the most exciting phase of your secondary education. During these two years you will make the decisions that will shape your future and we want to play a leading role in getting you to where you want to be.

You will be joining an innovative, dynamic, co-educational learning community which provides exciting opportunities for students from Bath and the wider world. You will find that we combine the very best of traditional post 16 teaching with a clear vision of the independence and decision making ‘know how’ that students need to develop today. Uniquely in Bath, we intend to offer you the choice of two pathways through sixth form study.

In addition to our extensive A/AS Level programme, we offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme. We look forward to advising you on which route best matches your strengths and interests.

You will all have different aspirations. You might have chosen your subjects and your dream career years ago; you might be much less certain about your future direction. You might be mindful of your family’s dreams for you; you might want to negotiate a different path. You might feel that the United Kingdom provides ample choice and scope for your future after secondary education, or you might see university and work taking you beyond these shores. It will be our responsibility to support and guide all of you.

We will encourage you to develop interests and skills beyond your curriculum. We want you to feel curious about the world around you and look forward to taking up your place as a confident and happy citizen of our culturally and technologically diverse world.
